GPs

GPs from the local Lingfield surgery run on-site clinics for students in our Medical Centre twice a week.

In addition, students can also visit the GPs surgery if needed. Students will be booked in to see the GPs for non-neurological concerns such as:

  • Minor ailments
  • Skin conditions (eczema, acne)
  • Allergies
  • Bruising
  • Persistent respiratory concerns
  • Thyroid problems
  • Recurrent urinary tract infections
  • Ingrown toe nails
  • Referrals for ECGs
  • Spirometry (test for asthma)
  • Incontinent issues

Well Women Clinics

This clinic is run three times a year to offer contraceptive and sexual health advice for students.

Phlebotomy

This service is available on request from our registrars/consultants for the nurses and health care assistants to take blood samples in order to check students’ medication levels as well as their general blood levels.
