Residential
Around 85% of students live on site in one of our 13 houses. Set in stunning rural grounds just outside Lingfield, the campus is a relaxing, calm environment where children and young adults can feel safe and secure.
Because we want all our students to feel comfortable in their surroundings, we match them in similar peer groups wherever possible. This makes it easier for them to interact with others, share interests and enjoy life away from home.
Living at St Piers College
- Students have their own rooms which they are encouraged to decorate themselves.
- Life skills are taught in each house helping students to grow in confidence and stand on their own two feet.
- A beautiful campus set over 60 acres is free for all students to enjoy.
- Residential staff work closely with each student to make sure their individual needs are met.
Ofsted says our Residential Special Schools care is outstanding. It is delivered according to individual needs and everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Young people say that they enjoy living at the school and benefit from close, warm relationships with the staff.
We also offer a year-round, residential service to support young adults aged 19 - 25 with complex needs. Our Connect2 service provides one-to-one support and a person-centred approach rather than a conventional curriculum.
