Sport
At St Piers College, we believe passionately that all students should live healthy, active lives.
As well as physical and emotional benefits, sport gives young adults an opportunity to spend time with their friends.
Activities on campus
Because physical activity means so much to us, we have a fantastic range of our sports facilities and activities for the students. They include:
- a fitness gym with weights and all the latest circuit training equipment
- an aqua trainer which is used extensively for relaxation and therapy
- a sports hall where students can enjoy trampolining and play all sorts of ball and racquet games.
Outdoors in our beautiful grounds, we have canoeing on the pond, bike and tricycle riding and a low ropes course – which are all challenging and fun.
The weekly College Football Club is always hugely popular too – and it’s open to everyone.

Opportunities off campus
There’s a range of exciting clubs and leisure facilities in the local area, and we actively encourage students to get involved in their own interests and pursuits off campus as much as we can.
There’s swimming, fishing, horse riding, climbing and much more.
