College

Here at St Piers College, we have number of different facilities that offer our students the opportunity to use a variety of equipment ranging from the iPads to kilns.

Art room

A spacious, relaxing place where students can experiment with different techniques and materials. There’s even a kiln where they can fire their own pottery.

Drama and media

Our dedicated drama and media hall is a fantastic space where students can put on their own shows, plays and musical performances using a state-of-the-art lighting rig and a multimedia suite.

Technology

Technology is a great way for students to interact with each other – and us. As well as the very latest laptops and tablets, we have futuristic smart boards in every classroom and one room that’s dedicated entirely to IT.

Library

The library is an important source of information for any college and at St Piers College, this is no exception. We have exciting plans for this area, which include building a new resource room and relocating the library to a bigger, better space.

Common rooms

College life is as much about spending time with your friends and learning to live with each other as it is about academic achievements.

Our two common rooms play a big part in creating a home-from-home environment where students can relax and catch up. There are drinks and snacks and plenty of comfy sofas. We’re planning a new recreation room too.

Transport

Much of what we do here at St Piers College involves preparing students for the future. With a fleet of minibuses, we are able to provide access to facilities and activities in the community, as well as to local buses and train stations – giving students the freedom they need to experience life outside of college.
