A shark tale

A group of St Piers College students who recently completed their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award went snorkelling with sharks at London Aquarium on the 4 and 17 July.

They raised a massive £830 for Merlin’s Magic Wand which is London Aquarium’s chosen charity. This charity provides magical experiences for children who are seriously ill, disabled or disadvantaged.

Some students were naturally nervous about the task. They persevered and each of them got in the water with sharks. This is a fantastic achievement for all the students and an experience they will all remember.

Thank you to all those that sponsored them
