Applause, cheers and a few tears

This year’s College leaver’s ceremony as always was an extremely well attended event. Nicholson Hall was filled with proud parents, excited students and staff. Everyone was filled with emotion, happy to see their students flourish and ready to move on, whilst sad to see them leave.

There were a whole range of awards to be handed out, from the Abbott Award won by Mitchel, to the Sports Award won by George. Each announcement of the winner was met by a large cheers and applause.

The ceremony came to close with one of the leavers, James, addressing the hall, he thanked everyone at Young Epilepsy who had helped him and made his experience at St Piers so wonderful. He ended his speech by wishing that future students that come to Young Epilepsy will enjoy an experience as good as his.

Parents thanked teachers and support staff for everything they had done with some saying their goodbyes with a few tears in their eyes.

Everyone at Young Epilepsy wishes all of our leavers the best of luck in their next stage in life, stay in touch.
